Seminar Details

Social media is a driving force in changing how companies communicate with stakeholders, deliver service and compete on a global scale. We can be successful with this new media if we approach it strategically and with a measure of creativity.

As leaders we are faced with both an opportunity and a challenge with the advent of social media technologies and networks. These tools can be a liability if they are not harnessed effectively.  Shane Gibson will share with the audience best practices and proven social media tools for today’s enterprises, including examples of how organizations from the White House to Blenz Coffee, and ING Direct use social media effectively.

Join Shane Gibson as he walks you through the steps necessary to implement social media into your business strategy. In this session, you will learn:

• The role of social media in marketing, service, operations and stakeholder management
• Core social media marketing success principles
• 10 major social media errors organizations make and how to avoid them
• How to develop a set of solid social media guidelines for your organization
• How to deal with negative feedback about your brand online
• How to develop and execute and Social Media Marketing plan that works

This program is based upon Shane Gibson’s new book “Sociable!”, co-authored with Stephen Jagger.

“Your session on Social Media was relevant, practical with ready to use concepts. At the end of the day it’s about the bottom line.  I appreciated your real world proven approach to social media.”  Dr. Denis Cauvier, Best Selling author of “The ABC’s of Making Money”
